OpenAI has declared it knows how to construct AI with human-level intelligence (AGI), and CEO Sam Altman thinks the first AI agents will join the workforce in 2025.

Altman has also revealed his intention to shift his focus toward the company’s technical direction, resulting in the expansion of COO Brad Lightcap’s responsibilities and the promotion of two executives.
This year, OpenAI has released several new features for its language models and detailed plans for the future.
It has also undergone a rebranding, complete with a new logo, typeface, and colour palette.
Its Japanese joint venture with OpenAI, which will spend $3 billion deploying OpenAI tech across SoftBank companies, also revealed plans for a new AI system called “Cristal intelligence.
