Roblox will let parents block people on their child’s friends list

Summary
Roblox is rolling out fresh parental controls to give parents and caregivers more tools to manage the behaviour of their children on the platform, according to chief safety officer Matt Kaufman.
This builds on changes introduced in 2024 which allowed parents to have a specific type of account to manage some aspects of how their offspring use Roblox.
With the new controls, parents will be able to block specific people on their child’s friend list, and restrict access to certain games and experiences.
Children under 13 will not be able to unblock users or experiences that have been blocked by their parents, but they will be able to request if those individuals or games can be unblocked.
Parents will also be able to see the 20 experiences their children have spent the most time in over the last week.
