Summary
Software giant Microsoft has released a mini-desktop computer, the Windows 365 Link, aimed at businesses and designed for ease of use within an organisation’s IT department.
The device enables staff to work from home by plugging into Microsoft’s cloud-based Windows 365 service, and is available in several countries including the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Japan.
It costs $349.99 and is pitched at organisations rather than individual consumers, requiring purchase through a Microsoft account team or authorised reseller.
Microsoft said the device had been tested by more than 100 businesses in a preview programme refining the experience prior to sale.
