Summary
Framework has announced that it is going to be delaying the opening of pre-orders of its Laptop 12 in the US and the announcement of its price while it considers the impact of the latest round of Trump tariffs on its business.
The convertible touchscreen laptop will still be available for sale to buyers in other parts of the world, including Canada and Europe, from today.
The device is the company’s most inexpensive model, coming with a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen, 13th Gen Intel Core i3 or i5 chips and up to 48GB of RAM and 2TB of storage.
The company had previously paused sales of some of its cheaper Laptop 13 models in the US to avoid selling them at a loss after the tariffs came into effect.
