Microsoft starts testing Copilot Vision update that can ‘see’ your screen and apps

Summary
Microsoft has expanded Copilot Vision to work with any app on a Windows PC, rather than just Microsoft Edge browser.
Users who are part of the Windows Insider programme in the US can access the new feature, which allows an AI assistant to screen share and help users with features such as Adobe Photoshop.
Microsoft is also testing file search options in Copilot on Windows, enabling users to ask the AI assistant for information on a file on their PC.
It supports a range of file types, including .docx, .txt and .pdf, and can find documents recently worked on.
The features will be available on the Copilot app for Windows, iOS and Android, and are due to be rolled out in the coming weeks or months.
This is part of a move by Microsoft to incorporate AI throughout its offerings, to compete with Google and Oracle.
