Summary
Internet explorer Digg has launched an early access group called Groundbreakers, which for a $5 one-off fee allows users to secure usernames and gain access to the new Digg as it’s developed.
Feedback will be able to be given directly to the development team, and there will be a permanent Groundbreakers badge on the user’s profile once the new Digg is up and running.
The rebooted Digg was announced last month, with the original founder Kevin Rose returning alongside Reddit cofounder Alexis Ohanian.
It will centre around sharing and voting on links, but also draw inspiration from Reddit and employ AI- Moderation.
Invites were originally sent to the Digg mailing list, but now users can sign up without one.
