Google, Apple, and Snap aren’t happy about Meta’s poorly-redacted slides

Summary
During today’s Meta/Facebook antitrust trial, Apple, Google and Snap have expressed irritation over Meta’s lax redactions in documents shown to the court.
Apple and Snap referred to the oversight as ‘egregious’ and indicated that it may make them reluctant to share proprietary information with Meta in the future.
Google’s attorney blamed Meta for jeopardising the search engine’s data as a result of the error.
Snap has apparently already been unhappy about what it deemed to be confidential information being shared during the opening statements.
Mark Hansen, Meta’s attorney, suggested using a third party not involved in the case to make the redactions in the future.
He also explained that he did not warn Snap that he was going to refer to their information because they are ‘major competitors’.
