Summary
Google has made its AI-powered Gemini app feature, which enables users to share content from their camera and screen, available for free to all Android users following a trial on the Pixel 9 and Samsung Galaxy S25.
The feature will be rolled out over the next few weeks to all Android devices that have the Gemini app installed.
Microsoft has also made its own AI tool, Copilot Vision, available free of charge within its Edge browser.
The developments mean that users can more easily share what’s on their camera and screen and find out additional information about highlighted items.
Google and Microsoft are competing to establish a dominant position in the AI marketplace.
