Google Fi has launched a new, affordable plan called Unlimited Essentials, which offers unlimited calls, texts and data for $35 per month for one line.
Existing plans will also be upgraded, with the Simply Unlimited plan being renamed Unlimited Standard, and the data cap for this and the Unlimited Premium plan being increased.
The Unlimited Standard plan now offers 25GB of high-speed hotspot tethering, rather than 5GB, and the Unlimited Premium plan now offers 100GB of high-speed data, rather than 50GB.
Customers will now be able to connect a secondary tablet or laptop to their plans using a data-only eSIM, which do not require a physical SIM card.
In addition to Android phones, iPhones will also be able to access international 5G, and international 5G coverage is being expanded to over 92 countries for customers on Unlimited Premium and Flexible plans.
