Summary
Adobe has introduced two new AI models under its Firefly offering, available via a web app, which allows users to generate images in up to 2K resolution
As well as including its own image generation models, the app offers those from OpenAI, Google and other third parties for users to experiment with.
A mobile app is slated to arrive on iOS and Android shortly, and the company is also launching Firefly Boards in public beta, described as a ” collaboratory generative AI moodboarding app”
At the same time, Adobe has made available new Creative Cloud app updates, including providing generative shape fill and text to pattern tools in Illustrator, colour adjustments and automatic selection tools in Photoshop, and improved editing suggestions based on a user’s unique style in the Actions panel.
These all form part of the foundations for a creative AI agent that the company intends to incorporate into Photoshop at a later date.
