Social media giant Meta has announced several changes to its Threads platform, including a change of web address from Threads.net to Threads.com.
The change of address is designed to make it easier for users to find the website, which had an unrelated messaging app using the domain Meta acquired last September.
Threads is also set to launch several new features, including displaying custom feeds in the same order they are arranged on mobile phones, and the ability to upload a list of people you follow on other platforms to find their profiles.
Threads has also begun rolling out ads across 30 countries, and has started allowing users to set their following or custom feeds as their default options.
