Data orchestration software firm Astronomer has expanded from its specialist offering into the broader data operations platform space with the launch of Astro Observe.
The launch addresses the growing issue for enterprises of operationalising AI initiatives and maintaining robust data pipelines at scale, by helping them to monitor and troubleshoot their data workflows more effectively.
Astro Observe includes an AI-driven “insights engine” which can predict potential failures in data pipelines before they impact business operations, giving customers time to pre-empt these issues.
Building on its expertise with Apache Airflow, an open-source workflow management platform, Astro Observe also features a “global supply chain graph”, allowing teams to visualise complex relationships between data assets and workflows.
