Summary
Sustainable gaming start-up Dots.eco has partnered with over 40 games with over one billion downloads to launch green initiatives.
By completing in-game milestones, purchases or missions, players are rewarded with the opportunity to plant trees or protect wildlife.
For World Environment Day on 5 June, several games will launch activations that enable players to make real-world environmental impact through gameplay.
Dots.eco’s goal is to integrate with more games to build the world’s largest community of impact makers and collectors.
The company hopes to increase its environmental impact by 10 times by 2025 and eventually make real change in the battle against climate change.
Dots.eco was founded by tech entrepreneur Nadav Gross and Daniel Madrid Spitz after they saw the success of their initial positive-impact gaming studio, Ethical Wizards.
