AGBO appoints Pete Wanat as head of interactive tech

AGBO, the production studio founded by the Avengers directors the Russo brothers, has appointed Pete Wanat as its president of interactive technology.
Based in Los Angeles, AGBO was established in 2017 to develop new forms of multimedia storytelling.
The company has received significant investment, including a $400 minj ec t i o n f ro m g amin g co m p an y N e x o n l a s t ye a r, t akin g i t s v a l u a t i o n t o$ 1.1bn.
Wanat, whose game credits include Jurassic Park, NBA Jam and Fast & Furious, will expand AGBO’s gaming operations.
He said the company was “at the forefront of empowering artists to innovate by incorporating their original IP into new forms of interactive entertainment.”
AGBO’s current projects include tv series The Citadel and Extraction, and the forthcoming Avengers films Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
