Tabletop war game Mr President: The American Presidency 2000-2020 is being adapted for PC and will be released on Steam in July, with a price tag of $25.
Adapted by Texan-based Exia Labs and created by gene Billingsley, the original title encompasses the entire presidential portfolio, and puts players in control of the US presidency, from domestic crises to relations with allies.
The digital adaptation, which will be priced between 20−25, has been in development for nine years and includes scenarios reminiscent of real-life crises, such as 9/11 and the financial crisis, enabling players to assess their political competence against actual events.
The maker of the game, Exia Labs, was co-founded by Jonathan Pan, a former member of the US National Security Council staff and former head of strategy at the US state department.
