Polycam, an applications creator for photorealistic 3D capture technology, using iPhones and iPads, has released Vision 25, to enhance such movers as 3D scanning, documentation and collaboration across mobile and web.
The release is intended to make Polycam a more valuable tool for professionals and enterprises working in areas such as architecture, engineering and construction and product design.
Vision 25 offers three new innovations, space mode, a scene editor and spatial report, all of which allow for 3D captures on an iPhone or iPad, and merging of scans into one scene, and generative AI for 3D modelling.
Polycam already has a large user base, with over 50% of the Fortune 500 using the platform, and two billion square feet of space already scanned.
