GPT-4.5 for enterprise: Do its accuracy and knowledge justify the cost?

Summary
OpenAI’s new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot tool GPT-4.5 has a host of impressive new features, but comes at a price that is far outside the budget of most companies, which may limit its adoption.
Built on a large language model, it has been spread across multiple data centres to handle the data required for training, and has the ability to handle complex enterprise document question-answering tasks.
It can also be used for coding tasks that require internal and contextual knowledge and for “LLM-as-a-Judge” tasks, where a strong model evaluates the output of smaller models.
OpenAI’s co-founder Andrej Karpathy said he expected improvements in tasks that are not reasoning-heavy, including those that are more EQ (as opposed to IQ) related and bottlenecked by world knowledge, creativity, analogy making, general understanding, humour, etc.
