Summary
California-based software firm Salesforce has launched a new AI marketplace called AgentExchange, which it claims is the first trusted marketplace for AI agents in enterprise software.
The marketplace currently has more than 200 partners, including Google Cloud, DocuSign and Box, offering pre-packaged agent solutions that businesses can implement without extensive technical expertise.
AI agents referred to as ‘digital labour’ can perform complex tasks autonomously and can be used to automate administrative tasks within businesses, with studies suggesting that up to 87% of healthcare professionals’ time is spent on administrative tasks rather than patient care.
Early adopters of the technology, such as ZoomInfo, Remarkable and Mimit Health, are using Agentforce in Slack to improve productivity by handling routine tasks.
