Summary
Tilting Point has launched a $150m user acquisition (UA) fund aimed at helping developers to scale their apps and games.
This is the company’s third multimillion-dollar fund, following operations in 2016 and 2018.
According to CEO Kevin Segalla, the sector has declined since Apple prioritised privacy over targeted ads, but he believes the industry has since adapted to the changes.
Tilting Point aims to differentiate itself from traditional publishers with a non-dilutive funding model that doesn’t require developers to forfeit equity.
The company offers long-term partnerships to developers, providing the funding required to scale but without the responsibilities or obligations of a traditional publishing deal.
Tilting Point has previously helped scale more than 200 games and partnered with more than 90 developers, including Loop Games, Joycity and Haiku Games.
