Nunu.ai raises $6M for AI agents dubbed ‘unembodied minds’ for game testing

Nunu.ai has raised $6m in series A funding and unveiled its new AI agents, known as Unembodied Minds, which are designed to test video games and can control any given body to perform tasks in any environment.
The company believes its AI platform will naturally progress into real-world applications as games become increasingly realistic.
The total amount raised to date is $8m.
“We believe the pathway to embodied AI goes through gaming,” said cofounder Jan Schnyder.
The company aims to 10x QA engineers by freeing up valuable ad-hoc testing time by automating tedious testing tasks.
Several game studios currently use Nunu.ai to run hundreds of automated tests monthly, and the technology can be applied to both large and small studios.
