Summary
Interaxon, in a partnership with Apple, has launched its third-generation brain-sensing headband, the Muse S Athena, which aims to bring advanced brain training into the home.
The device works by combining two powerful brain sensors, EEGS and Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, a technology that tracks oxygen levels in the brain.
It transforms brain activity that is picked up in real-time into “actionable insights, personalised training and measurable progress”, helping wearers to optimise focus, endurance and resilience.
The Athena can be used to help address cognitive decline and is available to buy online for $475.
