UK developer Hello Games has released a new update for its 2015 sci-fi game, No Man’s Sky.
The new update, entitled Relics, adds a paleontology feature, allowing players to dig up the bones of ancient creatures and create museums to display their finds.
The skeletons don’t always remain in the ground and, on some planets, they can be found walking around.
Players can also create meals using bones and can trade rare fossils with other players.
The update follows January’s “Worlds II” update, which added billions of new solar systems and biomes to the game.
Studio co-founder Sean Murray said the new additions were “features we feel make the universe feel broader and more real”.
