The Speedrun initiative is a 12-week training bootcamp for artificial intelligence (AI) and interactive startups, with up to $1m provided to each successful applicant company.
A maximum of 1% of applicants are accepted, but benefits also include guidance and mentorship from the A16z team and external industry experts.
The company boasts that over $100m has been deployed to more than 120 startups since 2023.
Successful Speedrun applicants tend to be those developing AI-first products, new forms of entertainment and interactive experiences.
