Global esports organisation Team Liquid has announced a partnership with Wildcard, a 2v2 action game combining collectable card mechanics and MOBA elements.
The organisation’s vice president of product, Bo Kryne, said it had been “excited about Wildcard from the start” and that it was “pleased to be partnered with them as they release Wildcard to the public”.
Working with Wildcard’s developers, Team Liquid content creators and former League of Legends pros Sam Jackson and Bo Yuan Qin have undertaken behind-the-scenes playtesting to fine-tune mechanics and balance.
Bettner said the company had submitted the game to Steam and begun a token airdrop campaign, and wild card is set to move into its next development phase, opening the game to hundreds of new playtesters ahead of an early access release this summer.
