Summary
Time-traveling action-RPG Last Epoch has sold more than 2.5 million copies to date and Eleventh Hour Games is launching Season 2 of the game.
CEO Judd “Moxjet” Cobler started the company in 2018 with eight people recruited from Reddit and it has since grown to 105 employees.
The game’s 1.2 update, Tombs of the Erased, includes a revamped crafting system, a new Sentinel class update, and a new faction, Weaver, with a new skill inspired by Diablo II’s guided arrow.
It also introduces the Weaver Faction Tree, which allows access to monolith timelines for all players, as well as a new Echo type, Woven Echoes, which offers a glimpse into the Weaver’s design and new rewards.
One notable enhancement is the Mastery Respecialization, which lets players change their Mastery Specialization at any time without having to start over with a new character.
The company has not had to raise any additional funds since its Tencent investment and is aiming for a seasonal release every four months.
