Nvidia has announced several developments at its annual GTC event, which it says are advancing the artificial intelligence (AI) revolution.
The chipmaker unveiled the Blackwell Ultra AI platform, with expanded memory to support next-generation AI models, and revealed that it is already in full production, delivering a 40x performance boost over its predecessor, Hopper.
It also introduced NVIDIA Vera Rubin, designed to enhance AI data centre performance, and NVIDIA Isaac and Cosmos platforms for robotics applications.
In addition, the company announced several other developments, including its Roadmap for future chips, DGX Personal AI computers, Spectrum-X and Quantum-X networking platforms, Dynamo software to speed up AI model development, and the NVIDIA Accelerated Quantum Research Center.
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, said the AI opportunity is worth $1tr and growing.
