Nintendo reschedules Switch 2 American preorders for April 24

Nintendo has announced it will open US pre-orders for its Switch 2 console on April 24, ahead of its official release date of June 5.
The company also confirmed that the price of the console and its games will not be affected by rising production costs and tariffs, however, some accessories will cost more.
This includes the Joy-Con 2 Pair, which will now retail for 95,a5 increase; the Dock Set, which has increased by 10to120; and the Switch 2 Camera, which will now cost 55,a5 increase.
The company had originally planned to open pre-orders on April 9, but delayed following the announcement of the tariffs on Chinese goods by the US government.
