Summary
Star Wars video game maker Respawn is collaborating with ex- Firaxis veterans at a new studio called Bit Reactor on a new game titled Star Wars: Zero Company.
Set during the end of the Clone Wars, the game will be a tactical, turn-based single player experience releasing in 2026.
Player customisation will allow for a non-animated version of Hawks to be altered to the player’s preferences, alongside their squad, with characters including Clone Troopers, astromechs, and a Jedi.
Interactions with squad members will enable the player to unlock combat synergies and change the outcome of high-stake encounters.
The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Termed a “galactic turn-based tactics game”, it was announced at Star Wars Celebration in Japan this week and has backing from EA, alongside Respawn’s development support.
