Iwot Studios launches game team for Wheel of Time RPG

Iwot Studios has launched its own game development studio and its first project is an open-world RPG based on the Wheel of Time series.
Its new game aims to capitalise on the success of the Amazon Prime show of the same name.
Iwot is involved in the production of the show and the new studio is being headed up by Craig Alexander, who was formerly VP of product development at Warner Bros Games.
Alexander is establishing a headquarters in Montreal to begin development of the new game.
This is not the first attempt by Iwot to turn the Robert Jordan books into a video game.
In 2008 it announced plans to adapt the books into games and films, but this never came to fruition.
