UiPath’s new orchestrator guides AI agents to follow your enterprise’s rules

Summary
UiPath has launched its own Platform for Agentic Automation to differentiate AI agents from traditional automation.
Daniel Dines, the company’s founder and CEO, said agents are not yet fully automated, and noted that the “big problem” with LLMs today is that they are nondeterministic and so cannot be run autonomously.
Instead, the new platform’s AI orchestration layer, Maestro, oversees the flow of information from agents to humans to the automation layer, with theAim being to give enterprises a powerful and accountable way to adopt agents gradually and avoid any potential problems from unfettered access to systems.
The platform works with several other AI frameworks, including those from Anthropic, LangChain and Microsoft, and Google’s Agent-to-Agent protocol.
