Backbone unveils Backbone Pro controller engineered to play on any screen

Summary
Backbone has created a new game controller, Backbone Pro, engineered from the ground up to work with any screen.
CEO Maneet Khaira said that close to 3,000 design iterations were required before the Backbone team was satisfied that it had created a smaller-sized controller with the maximum comfort.
Ergonomics and the hand feeling are critical to gamers, and that is one of the biggest issues in designing game controllers, according to Khaira.
The controller offers 40 hours of battery life and is also highly customizable, with the ability to remap buttons and save control configurations for specific games and platforms.
Backbone has built an ecosystem with its Backbone app becoming a universal hub for all gaming, giving a user access to all their games in a single place.
Pricing hasn’t been announced yet but the Backbone Pro is available now.
Backbone is backed by Index Ventures (early investors in Discord, Roblox, and Figma), Ashton Kutcher’s Sound Ventures, and other prominent investors.
