Alienware reveals Aurora class laptops for mid-range gamers

Alienware has launched its new Aurora laptop range in a bid to offer mid-ranged gamers a more streamlined product line.
There will now be two core Alienware product lines, with the Area 51 brand being the high-end offering for enthusiasts, while the more moderate gamers will be supported by the Aurora range, with the specific aim of targeting those new to PC gaming.
The Aurora range will be distinguished by its interstellar indigo colour and a focus on portability, performance and versatility, including a Quiet Mode to tone down the lighting and extend the battery life.
The range will come in two versions: the base model Alienware Aurora 16 and the upgraded Alienware 16X Aurora, which offers a 155W power usage, compared to the former’s 115W.
The laptops range in price from 1,149to5,000 and are available from 8 May in North America.
