Resurgens Gaming raises funds to launch Ghost Launchpad game accelerator

Resurgens Gaming has raised an undisclosed seven-figure sum to launch its game accelerator and publishing division, Ghost Launchpad, which will use Unreal Editor for Fortnite to allow developers to create and publish games more quickly.
Investors in the Series Seed Plus funding round included Invest Georgia, Sound Media Ventures, Phoenix Capital Ventures, and the family offices of Atlanta Hawks player Trae Young and Blue Mammoth Games’ Matt Woomer.
Resurgens plans to use the funding to further expand its creator-driven media and live events, and help integrate brands into the fastest-growing area of media.
The Ghost Launchpad accelerator will be based in Resurgens’ Atlanta headquarters and led by former Hi-Rez Studios Vice President Brian Grayson.
The partners of Resurgens include Skillshot, which offers experiential live events and livestreaming infrastructure; and Ghost Gaming, a gaming organisation with a roster of professional gamers and content creators.
