Esports World Cup spells out the path to Riyadh for 200 game tournaments

More than 200 tournaments will span grassroots competitions to elite international circuits as part of the ‘Road to EWCF’ programme, with the EWCF wanting the tournament to help grow the sport.
The Esports World Cup will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in August, with the qualification events commencing shortly as 25 tournaments in 24 games take place.
More than 2,000 elite players and 200 clubs will compete in the Esports World Cup 2025, competing for a $70m prize pool, the largest in esports history.
Various routes to qualification are offered depending on the game, with publisher circuits, open qualifiers and community tournaments among the qualification routes.
