Esports company Blast expands to U.S. with New York office

Esports tournament organiser Blast has announced plans to open a New York office as it expands into the US esports space, having previously worked on events in the area.
It plans to add several US events to its schedule, including the FNCS Pro-Am Los Angeles and the Blast.tv Austin Major.
The company, which has worked with the likes of Nike, TikTok and NASCAR, already has partnerships with Ubisoft, Epic Games, Valve and Riot.
It also plans to open an office in Mumbai by the end of the year as part of its global expansion efforts.
Leo Matlock, Blast’s chief business officer, will lead the expansion from the New York office, building a local team and looking to foster closer relationships with US game developers.
