Summary
Skydance Interactive has announced that its upcoming action-adventure game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, will be delayed from its proposed 2025 release date to early 2026.
The company has stated that the cause of the delay is to allow for more polish to be applied to the game, enabling the deliverer of the best possible user experience.
The game was first announced at the Game Developers Conference in 2024, and features a narrative driven by Captain America and WW2-era Black Panther, Azzuri, with the additional support of two other heroes, Howling Commando Gabe Jones and Wakandan spy Nanali, who will presumably work to defeat the villainous Hydra.
This is the second major title to be delayed from a proposed 2025 launch, with Grand Theft Auto VI from Rockstar Games also being delayed from fall 2025 to May 2026.
