Summary
Nintendo has opened a retail outlet for its gaming gear in San Francisco, its second in the US after one in New York that opened in 2001.
The store is 9,000 square feet across two floors and is located in Union Square, close to Apple’s outlet.
It is filled with products that reflect the company’s attention to detail, including items only available in the store, such as T-shirts and paraphernalia linked to various Nintendo characters.
It will be stocked with the Nintendo Switch 2 hybrid game consoles from June 5.
Senior manager PJ Sadler said: “We wanted Nintendo San Francisco to be more than just a store.
We want to immerse you with our characters, with our worlds”.
